Cry

I stood on the highest mountain and shouted for help so loudly that the whole world could hear me.

But alas no-one was listening and they couldn’t see me in my darkness.

I stood in the largest crowd and shouted for help so loudly that all turned to hear my despair.

But alas no-one was listening and they couldn’t see me in my darkness.

I carved symbols of despair on my body and said behold the signs of madness.

But alas no-one was listening and they couldn’t see me in my darkness.

I cut myself with the sharpest of knifes. My blood and tears mingled, and flowed, and I cried please forgive me for I know not what I do. Then at last the peace of death fell upon me and in my final breath I reached out.

But alas no-one was listening because I had been consumed by the darkness.
