Reunion

My life begins to slip from me, my last breath cascades into the frosty night air and my life replays in my minds eye. I see her, the girl whose endless love was taken from me by the shackles of death.

I see her now as she rides the wind to the final place of rendezvous. I reach out into eternity, to touch the essence of her love. Bright stars twinkle in the fabric of the darkness and tears fall from the sky beyond from an unknown source.

She is here, we are one, united in death, the truth revealed – full circle.
