War Zone
A mother of many children, arms
outstretched with the tears of a thousand years falling to fill the depths of
despair. How many times has she been here in the history of mankind to be
conquered and pleading for mercy while her children are torn from her and
slaughtered as cattle. Where is God, and all his Angels, now ?
On her knees
below the Soldier so strong and mighty. God have mercy, but no, no mercy hath
the war zone, the doom of man. God is cruel, and his Angels merciless, to allow
such torment. Fallen from Heaven and alone as the Soldier steals her life from
her.
Who could have helped and who sent these brave warriors to slaughter women and children ? The politician, the servant of God, of course, but what defence the politician tongue ? Empty echoes of a worthless promise.
